[HP3000-L] IBM Buying Cognos

Yeah, that's pretty hard to say, isn't it?  I'm sure that IBM has a glut
of development tools ... They're buying Cognos for the BI products, for
sure.
Sadly, yet another Canadian corporation being swallowed up by a
foreigner ... 

Mind you, quite a success story: from a smallish consulting company with
an in-house report writer to a 5 billion company in about 30 years?  Not
too shabby.

We are fully 10 years behind in PH versioning (PH607F), so it would be
great to get caught up on many of the features implemented in the last
decade!
