Bob announces ...

release

execute (if written)

"text loaded into function keys" - but why stop at Windows?

Back in the really olden days when Cognos had an actual enhancement
request procedure I submitted the following request. Bob's hint in the
above is getting close.

Category: Software

Product: Powerhouse

Platform: All

Title: Allow input of data in conditional-command list.

Description: Expand syntax of the conditional-command list to

allow for data to be entered via the command list.

The effect would be the same as if the data had been

                entered by the screen operator.

Suggest syntax such as INPUT expression but will

settle for INPUT string for now.

Benefits: Simulate user input with PUSH and with

                PRE and POSTCOMMAND.

Load dfk's with other than Quick navigation commands.

Examples: >PUSH ID 01, INPUT "XX", UPDATE STAY

                             -----------

                >KEY 1 LEVEL 1 LABEL "Lookup" DATA INPUT "$"

                                                   ---------

Comments: This is a resubmission of a previous request, last

                submitted on 92/12/18.
