Hi there,

We are currenting using a hospital application TPA Version 7 which
consists of a number of integrated modules such as ADT, Raiology, Lab etc,
so information entered in ADT is automatically updated to Radiology, Lab
etc. This is on a Turbo Image database(B.G4.11) using Cognos version
7.2.9.c.9.

This system needs to be replaced however this will happen on a phased
basis with disparate systems that need to be kept in sync with the main
TPA system until this is replaced. It is proposed that as new systems come
on stream TPA will feed the remote systems via outbound messages to keep
all systems in sync.

We are therefore looking at possible ways to capture transaction data on
TPA that can be piped to other applications on a real time basis. WE were
investigating the possibility of maybe tapping into a transaction log. OUr
database is currently not running in logging mode. This seems to have been
replaced by transaction manager which runs as part of the operating
system.

Is it possible to turn on logging mode as well as transaction manager?

Is there any way of capturing transaction on TurboImage ??

Do you know if there is anything available that may give us this
functionality.
I would be grateful for any help

Thanks,
Breda Mulhern
