US Holiday Calendar?

A client wanted a table of U.S. holidays for use in an accounts payable
application.  The client wanted to ensure due dates do not fall on a
holiday.  Other clients have used such a table in payroll applications. 
It may not be too much of a chore to enter the holidays manually each
year, but we now have a QUICK screen that will generate & display the 10
U.S. federal holidays which usually coincide with bank holidays.  It also
generates the Friday after Thanksgiving which is a day off at many
companies.  The screen was tested and found accurate for years 2006 to
2012.

If anyone wants a copy, send me an email off list and I will send you the
code, PDL, etc.
I'm sure it could be easily adapted for other countries as well.

I searched the archives but found nothing regarding generating a US
holiday calendar.  I found some algorithms on the net and 
unless someone has already done it and is willing to share, I may build
(and share) procedures for a US holiday generator for 
a QUICK screen.
