Which version of PH and Oracle 
Can you tnsping the database
Are you connecting via odbc or native
What is the database syntax in your dictionary
Is the problem with quiz, qtp and qdesign also

Hi all

We're getting there on setting up Oracle with Powerhouse so there might
be a few posts over tht next week or two...


Using qshow to show the tables from the Oracle database I get this
error. Any ideas what would be causing this?

*W* SQL START DBE error (CMS)
DMS-E-CONNECTREJECT, A connection has been rejected by the remote
interface
during operation 'attach database'.
Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12154

    Records & Sizes:    ** none **
