I would try to build up the screen statement gradually, perhaps there is a
syntax conflict,
> SCREEN xmenu1 actionbar startup
If that dos'nt help I would suggest you ask Cognos support if there is a bug
fix.

I think you need to say 'actionbar startup' on the screen statement.

The best I could come up with is this, but it still requires you press
the return key. I couldn't see a way to popup menu items for particular
actionmenu.
