How do I avoid this error, please?

Here is my access list ... 

access *mipss600b                                               & 
                             link d_ordno_1 to order_no of      & 
       order_master in isdb alias order_master_a1               & 
                             link d_ordno_1 to order_no of      & 
       order_detail in isdb alias order_detail_a1          opt  & 
                      link (primary_id   of order_detail_a1,    & 
                            secondary_id of order_detail_a1) to & 
                           primary_id, secondary_id of          & 
       secondary_table in isdb alias secondary_table_a1 

The Secondary Table has a one-to-one relationship with order_detail. I
thought that if I made order_detail optional, that the secondary table
would also be reliant on the order detail and therefore be optional with
it. Is this not correct? I tried it with an OPT in the secondary table
and I still get the same error above
