[SPAM] - quiz report limit or carriage return issue. - Senderis forged (SPF Fail)

Hi Anne,
I've run into the same issue and I solved it by adding a character that
will not be in the data (i.e. ~) as the logical end of line.
I let quiz create the report - I use 250 char line length because I've
seen some weird things happen with data at 255 char line length. The
actual line length doesn't really matter outside these conditions.
After the file is created I use the operating system commands/utilities
(I'm on unix) to delete all carriage returns in the file; then replace ~
with carriage return. At that point you will have the line length that
you want, which can be as long as you like.
Regards
Ulrich Karthaus

Why not put the report items into a subfile? Especially since you seem
to want a disc file as the final result anyway.

is forged (SPF Fail)

Hi.

I have a quiz report where I have to report out a large single string of
data that is larger then the 264 report page limit. I have split the
string into smaller parts and reported them out which gets over the
issue with the size of the string but I end up with Carriage Returns in
the data, which I can't have as I am only to have CR at the end of each
fully reported string. I am writing to a DISC file. I have set the page
to nospacing, nohead, nowait. I am on MPE.

Does anybody have any suggestions, or suggest a way around this issue.

Many thanks

Anne
