Locking in PH 8.40D

Hi
I believe the UNIX version of PowerHouse had a similiar
problem and Cognos fixed it.
I suggest asking Cognos to look into it.
The CLOSE option on a FILE statement causes QUICK to
CLOSE the file upon exitting the screen if it had not been
opened in a screen higher up in the calling sequence.
Any locks held would be released. This is a high price
to pay for concurrency!
