SUBWORK1 error

Firstly, it's not "Unix", it's Sun Solaris (totally different from the
good 'ol Unix boxes of the 90s !!) :)

Ok... the QTP is called from a C shell script (BAT file) as follows ...

#!/bin/csh -f

#--------------------------------------------------
#Points to where powerhouse has been installed
setenv PH_USR /usr/cognos/ph843d1
setenv PH_VER d1
source /usr/cognos/ph843d1/setpow.csh

setenv ORACLE_HOME /users/oracle/product/9.2.0

qtp dict=$MIPSHOME/obj/phd.pdc auto=$MIPSHOME/obj/mipst006.qtc
nostatistics

..etc other QTPs, etc..

It fails on that first QTP. Mind you... it doesn't fail ALL the time,
which is really annoying. AND it only fails on a particular user, and
again NOT all the time.

So it's like PH is creating the temp folder ok partially and other times
it cannot, which is when it failed with that error from my 1st email.

The $MIPSHOME is simply a variable for the location of the system's home
directory.

This USED TO WORK correctly in our old Unix system. Sun Solaris is a
totally different beast... even down to the way it handles IF THEN ELSE!
Give me the VMS or MPE systems anyday!

ok enough rant... :)

cheers

You don't mention how the qtp is being called, but if it is from
quick....
