Cora:

  Try this

    PDL

FILE XYZ ORG RELATIONAL TYPE ORACLE

IF PDL accepts it then your version should run with ORACLE.

You will probably want an Oracle client set up on your VMS machine.
This lets you check things out with SQLPLUS. Check with Oracle
on How to setup the connection between W2K and VMS.

After getting data with SQLPLUS, try setting up the
connection in PowerHouse. The dictionary manual pretty good
on explaining how this is done.

The cognos web site has information on OS and database versions
that are compalbe with which PowerHouse versiions.

Good luck,
Regards,
Peter
