We use Ultraedit.

It has a lot of functionalities: 

Syntax highligthing, column mode, open and save directly from a server 
via FTP, massive find & replacement in files, compare files...

With the wordlist, you can also make Ultraedit show you the different 
procedures and requests in a function list, and situate automaticaly on 
his code just clicking on the procedure name.
