Have you started the select pattern with "%", or "%%" for case-sensitive patterns?

Subject: Wild Card Find or Select in Quick
Hi All.
I'd like to use a pattern to select multiple records for a cluster where
the difference I'm looking for is in the middle of known values. Using a
pattern such C4256 at D, I'd like to return strings C4256zD and C4256cxD.
I've tried several variations in both find and select modes without success.
Thanks.
Darren
