Is the list alive?

Ok I feel like I'm in a time vortex here.
The date on Bob's email is tomorrow morning....I'm so confused.
 
I have noticed that emails I send out to the list get to a lot of
people, but never come back to myself. I didn't know the list was
designed that way.
