Sort file limit -- QTP 843D

Hi, all,

We've had the same problem on HPUX 11v1/v2 PA-RISC and ITANIUM platform.
This is a bug.

Cognos Development Team send us a patch and it works fine now.

This patch applies on the 8.43d1 version.

Hi all:

Thanks for the many suggestiions with regard to this problem.

I have chosen to reduce the record size of QTPSORT
by writing only the items that I need to a subfile;
then in next request read and sort the subfile and do the
output processing.

By the way I am looking for a new gig.
