Subject: Job Control Word.
Dear Gurus,
I've migrated an application from PH/MPEIX to Axiant 4GL(Thin
Client)/WINDOWS.
The old system is executing a COBOL program.
>From the QUICK screen, a !SETJCW AUDIT 0 command is sent to the OS.
Inside the COBOL code, a variable called JCW is checked at different points
for values 2,9 etc.
We've re-written the COBOL code in TSQL.
Can anyone tell me what this command does and what its equivalent is in
WINDOWS?
I'd appreciate.
Best Regards,
SYED.
