I also found the comments below, and as you are from the hp3000 platform you
might also find useful,
how to setup function keys as previously used on the HP3000 as below,
key 1 label "dfk1" data skip all, designer docd
key 2 label "shift" action and data shift lock
If the terminal emulator in use cannot emulate a hp terminal type, you can
use Gold n to invoke a given key n function. Or you can map commands from
the TIC screen.
If the terminal emulator can emulate a hp terminal type such as hp2392, it
is possible to get behaviour very similar to the hp3000.
Set the reflections terminal type to hp2392 and call the application as
follows,
quick auto=mydfkqkg.qkg term=hp2392
the F key buttons will now be enabled on the screen.
Used the lock syntax as below in order to hold a given level beyond a single
command,
key 1 data skip all, designer docd
key 1 level 2 data skip all, designer mf42
key 2 label "dfk2" action and data shift lock
key 3 level 2 action and data shift to 1 lock
be sure that the QKGO file has the field Function Key Support Mode set to
Dynamic (2); this field can be found in the QKGO screen option '07 Dynamic
Function'
Regards, Joe.
