Hi,
I am in the middle of migrating a fairly large app from the HP3000 to =
Windows. Fooling around with all the various ways to handle printed =
output from QUIZ (8.41.D). I need to settle on a method for re-directing =
printed output from batch jobs.
I am wondering if anyone has any doco, or better yet a working example, =
of the PH_PRINTER env variable on Windows. Can't figure out what to set =
it to, or even if it works. Would be a nice option in some cases if I =
could make it behave.=20
I have a similar problem with the DESTINATION option of SET REPORT. =
Anyone made this work on Windows? Output just keeps going to the =
default printer regardless of what I try.
Last but not least anyone tried SET REPORT DEVICE PRINTER <string> - =
this one is in the migration guide. Not sure what <string> should be. =
I did check my QUIZ reference manual, but it was not much help. It =
mentions all these approaches, but that's about it. Where can I find =
any doco on this? I am probably not looking in the right place.
I sure wish Windows had file equations - so far this is the thing I miss =
the most. Any help would be appreciated.=20
