subfile with indices

I would do a find from the root down, looking for files with the same names
as your subfile, and then delete them all and start again; its possible that
a subfile part of a similar name exists somewhere that may be from an
earlier attempt, and not compatible with the indexed format.

If all you need is access to the subfile data, you could run the quiz in a
remote folder to a limited report set e.g. 'set rep lim 1', and then copy
any missing subfile parts into the problem directory; that should work.

Regards, Joe.

Hi Joe

We r working in Unix, so yes we do have to mention the path, but then
if we run the quiz from the location where the data file is placed ,
usually we dont have to mention the path .

Even in that case i have tried giving the path , it still doesnt work .

Regards
Subashini
