I found a note which says the following,
'add /tmp to the dictionary open name on your file
e.g. file employees organization indexed open /tmp/employees'
but I have no idea if this solution was specific to the server set-up at the
time, of if this is a general solution.

Afternoon All,
A question for the unix/PowerHouse boffins out there...
We have two HP-UX boxes, running PowerHouse 8.43.C.
We have mounted one of the directories on box A from box B using NFS.
We can list the contents of the the directory on box A from box B ok, and
read plain subfiles on box A from box B ok, but not indexed subfiles or
indexed data files declared in the dictionary.
Quiz says :-
> go
*E* Data access error. (CT)
*E* Can't use nfs (ISAM 125) (CT)
where CT is the name of an indexed subfile.
Is this because we haven't configured the NFS thing correctly, or is it just
not possibly to access C-ISAM indexed files over NFS in any language? We
were interested to see how PowerHouse was going to handle locking over NFS,
but it may be that we aren't going to get far enough to worry about that.
Any ideas?
