telenet - serial signal - powerhouse Quick

If your local machine is hooked to the server through a serial port I don't
see the need
for telnet. However, if you have some type of terminal emulation software
that connects
through telnet. You may be able to have that software launch the open door
command.
In quick you would send an escape sequence to have the software send the
code out
the port. Reflections for example allows to do some nifty things. In fact I
would ask
WRQ and MINISOFT.
