VMS to WINDOWS approach ( set lang SQL - gen database...) ?

I'm pretty sure that the command to get 'RMS tables' was 'gen database'
only, i.e. no database name or RMS file names referenced - presumably you
then pick the 'RMS tables' out of the full SQL generated for the whole
dictionary.

we're on PH710.G1 & VMS7.3-1, with the database referenced in the
dictionary, gen database <dbname> does generate a qshogen.sql file with
table definitions (careful, views are treated as tables), however, the same
does not work for gen database <rms filename>. It creates an empty
qshogen.sql. My understanding is that this does work for VMS in PH8 version.
