Fair point,
how about use $ken1 as the subfile name in the related source files and add
the set commands below before compilation as below,
set subfiles_folder=compile
set ken1=c:\%subfiles_folder%\ken1.sfd
Quiz
Use ken1.qzs
$copy %phtemp%*.sfd %ken1%
$qtp
Use ken1.qts
where the latter would be set before the 1st reference to ken1 is compiled,
after which you issue command '$copy %phtemp%*.sfd %ken1%'.
After compilation, you could go back to 'set subfiles_folder=live', and add
the command 'set ken1=c:\%subfiles_folder%\ken1.sfd' to all the batch files
which call the quiz/qtp combination.
P.S. I'm now going to look at Stephen's code and adopt that from now on :)
Regards, Joe.

Hold on here.
If I alter my subfile names in my PH source, that
would mean all my subfiles are in the same location at
run time as well.
Currently I create folders for each run of a program
to allow me to support the client. If something screws
up I can go into the folder and see the log as well as
the subfile created. If I put everything in
c:\subfiles\, I lose that option.
Am I understanding this correctly or did I go otu to
left field?
