you can run quiz from inside qtp, but the temporary folders used by each will be=20=
different, so you can't by default use the subiles from one in the other=2E
we solved this problem by using a batch file to copy the subfile definitions from=
 the temporary folder from qtp into the one for quiz=2E
if you run quiz from inside qtp the folder structure looks like this:

-> tmp<number1>  (qtp temp folder)
---> tmp<number2>  (quiz temp folder)

so you have to copy all the files from tmp<number1> to tmp<number1>\tmp<number2>=2E
in dos terms this becomes (win2k):

	if not "%phtemp%"=3D=3D"" copy %phtemp%\=2E=2E\*=2Esfd %phtemp%

you'll get an error on exiting quiz if you don't then delete these, so use:

	del /q /f %PHTEMP%\*=2Esfd

put these in batch files and call them inside quiz=2E
a generic compile script is included (=2Etxt to get round daemons)=2E

Ok guys, it's been almost a year since I tried to
resolve the issue I had=2E How did you guys solve the
problem of compiling all your code in batch (bat
file)?

On and HP3000 the subfile definitions stay in memory
(temp)=2E On a Vax you can call $QUIZ from within QTP to
retain the subfile definitions=2E Neither of these
tricks/options work on "Powerhouse for Windows"

BTW, I worked with Steve B at Cognos for a week on
this problem back when I was converting and we both
agreed at the time that it would be easier to run
interactive quiz until a solution could be found=2E Now
I guess I should go back to see if I can work through
it since everything else is done=2E
