Ken is correct that you cannot call quiz from within qtp in the windows
environment. In order to compile a quiz report that was dependent on
subfiles created in qtp we had to actually run the qtp program to get
powerhouse to generate the subile and then we could compile the quiz.
This was annoying but there are ways to work around it.

I would definitely say that the window environment isn't exactly
powerhouse friendly but it can be done.

Ok guys, it's been almost a year since I tried to resolve the issue I
had. How did you guys solve the problem of compiling all your code in
batch (bat file)?

On and HP3000 the subfile definitions stay in memory (temp). On a Vax
you can call $QUIZ from within QTP to retain the subfile definitions.
Neither of these tricks/options work on "Powerhouse for Windows"

BTW, I worked with Steve B at Cognos for a week on this problem back
when I was converting and we both agreed at the time that it would be
easier to run interactive quiz until a solution could be found. Now I
guess I should go back to see if I can work through it since everything
else is done.
