data conversion error

Hi Viet

  I hope this access is not to an Oracle database. For relational databases
VIAINDEX implies an order by the segments of the index.

In addition PowerHouse only matches by type to the segments of the index.

So it is possible for the DBA to break PowerHouse code by changing
the segment order in the index.

Is it possible that data in distr_ref is actually signed zoned??

Your calculation then would be

   10 * nconvert(distr_ref[9:2])  + ( index ( " <- zoned overpunch 
characters ", dist_ref[11:1])) - 1
