Thank you - I actually figured it out. I had an old .SF out there, which my
count was accessing. The newly created file was actually a .PS. I just
needed to clean up the drive.

I think you do only want one record to be written to the 'CREATEDT' file
though. If the file DWDTL has 55 records then the KOUNT should have '55' in
it. Perhaps it's a bug of some sort. Perhaps you could try adding NORESET
after the "KOUNT SUBTOTAL NORESET" and see if that does the trick. You
shouldn't have to but one never knows...

Hi,
Could someone take a look at the attached Quiz extract and tell me what I am
doing wrong. I am trying to get the count I have extracted in the first part
at the bottom of the extract. Although my file has 55 records in it, or
more, the count is 1 each time. I am doing this for all my other files and
it works fine. What am I missing?
OpenVMS v7.3-2 and Quiz V7.10.G4.
