QTP migration questions

My experience with SQL cursors is not good. If you
can recode QTP into SQL without having to resort to
the use of cursors then you will probably see a
performance gain.
SQL is not as "logical" to program in as QTP as it
typically doesn't have discrete boundaries like
REQUESTs. This makes it a bit harder to understand
and debug for me.
