Yes, sorry, we're talking Celsius. Just in case any of you are feeling
sorry for me, this weekend's forecast is for a HIGH of -35! I'm sure
grateful for the wood heater at times like that.
Regarding the igloos ... my youngest son used to get ahold of Americans
(USA) in chat rooms and tell them stories like that ... of how he had to
hook up the dog sleigh and travel down to Winnipeg (750 km!) to purchase a
car! You wouldn't believe the stories he could get away with!
Truthfully, when you hop into the truck when it's -35(c) you almost need ski
pants, otherwise your bum gets numb as all of the heat gets sucked out of
it!
Guy.

Just to be sure we're on the same page Guy, Celsius not Fahrenheit right?
Good thing too, our igloos here in Burlington are melting. We could use the
cold and snow to build them back up. Had to equip the dog sled with wheels
last week for the lack of snow ;-)

For those of us in Northern Canada those are almost spring-like conditions,
eh!
Yes, Wisconsin can be brutally (read as life threatening) cold in the
winter (we will hit -20 below zero this Saturday night, and the high for
Saturday will only be -5 below zero). If you have health/comfort
problems with the cold, this may not work for you.
Ah well .....
