Try the program parameter NOOSACCESS when you run QUIZ.

We are running an HP3000 979/400.  Our users can access QUIZ through
menus, the 
problem is that we have discovered that once inside QUIZ they can enter
other 
user commands, such as QUERY, which we do not want them to do.  How can
we turn 
off this "feature"?
