In Axiant Help, click the Find tab and generate the full index if necessary.
Then enter Viewer. Alternatively, under Contents, How to, Use Reports,
Running a Report Program, the Result section mentions the Viewer.

The Viewer is just the special window that you view a report in.

Dear Joe, Bob,

Because so far I couldn't find anything about Quiz Report Viewer, I'm trying
to stream the quiz output to a text file and open the text file via cmdExec
command.

I really don't understand how to find this Report Viewer. I cannot see
anything about Report Viewer neither in Cognos knowebase nor in Axiant Help.

Where can I find some documentation about it?

Regards,

SYED.

given that the quiz report viewer knows where to send the output from a quiz
call, (which is executing on the server) presumably it would be possible for

the development chappies in Canada to program the server to send a signal
back to the client to activate the Winexec command.

I don't believe you can control the client from the server in that way.

the problem with that approach is that with thin clients, the run
command executes on the server, whereas the Winexec executes on the
client.

How can you procedurally process a Winexec command to run on the client
?

WinExec is an Axiant client operation, typically tied to a button or
menu entry. If you want to run a Windows app or command from a
procedure, use RUN COMMAND.
