Have you tried a 'PUSH APPEND' in the POSTFIND procedure?

Mange hilsner / With kind regards

Subject: Force a PEFORM APPEND?

PH 7.10.G1 with OpenVMS V7.3-2 on Alpha

We have a screen that is called in (F)ind mode with keys passed. The (F)ind
mode works fine and displays header information at top of screen.

The bottom part of the screen contains a detail file cluster occurring 5
times with cache.

After the (F)ind completes, the prompt is in the ACTION field. Is there
anyway to prompt at the first line of the detail file, i.e. execute a
PERFORM APPEND after the (F)ind completes? Or must the user get used to
entering an "A" in the ACTION field?
