We are busy with the migration from Powerhouse 7.10G to 8.40D
on Open vms version V7.3-2 and receive following error
in compilation of a QTP

QTP

USE SRC:TGVFT$082 nol NO PROBLEM FOR THIS COMPILATION

USE SRC:TGVFT$083 nol

access *tgvft$083_2a

%SYSTEM-E-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=!XB, virtual address=!XH, PC=!XH

, PS=!XL

%NONAME-W-NOMSG, Message number 00000000

%SYSTEM-F-ABORT, abort

Does anyone know what can cause this problem ?

Thanks,

Can you let me know what version and any bug/fix numbers that are
relevant because this could mean that we can look at upgrading again.

Regards,
Gavin.

Are you pulling our leg Al? PH to Cobol? It's

HA, I thought the same thing. I half expected them to
send me a bill instead of paying my invoice. Sounded
backwards to me.

PH to cobol, sheesh

Ah Blue....

If Only....the short story is one of simple economics. As we continue our
conversion to the iSeries we needed to upgrade our existing hp3000 box.

Sadly, the upgrade charge we were faced with made our decision easy.
