Define your fields in  a record structure called testdel
>ele x c 20
>ele y n 9 def dat  int size 4
>ele z d 8 def dat  zoned size 8
>file testdel org direct
>recor testdel
>item x
>item y
>item z
>load

Let say your delimiter is ;

SCREEN x AUTOUPDATE
FILE testdel

procedure initialize
push entry
END

delimited_file

QUICK auto=x  < delimited_file
