More Probs in 8.40D

Thnx all.  The work around I've been using is just to move over the compiled
versions of the programs into production.  These work fine.   I've been in
contact with Cognos Support, but no solution has yet been forthcoming.

I am assuming that transactions are started by screens and are independent 
of the chosen database/dictionary - I should have added that any 'in 
mydatabase' syntax be removed - but assumed that as a given.
