Thank you all for the affirmative responses. As it
happens, I noticed yesterday that a couple of
recruiters in my area have posted some PowerHouse
positions so I may be in luck. Also today, I was
contacted to arrange an interview on Monday for a VAX
OpenVMS COBOL job. Suddenly, I'm feeling a bit more
optimistic. I was beginning to think I'd have to start
teaching myself Java or some flavour of C. 

In case these leads don't pan out, I'll be interested
in hearing about any contract or permanent
opportunities in the Montreal area. I have about 10
years experience with PowerHouse/Interbase/TurboImage
and COBOL on the HP3000, another 3 years with
PowerHouse/RMS, COBOL and BASIC on the VAX and about a
year with Oracle/SQL on the HP9000.
