CCONVERT - New Functions

Hi All,

I noticed a couple of people referring to the CCONVERT function today.
Looks like it converts numeric values to characters. Can it handle 
floats? Is that the difference between it and the ASCII function?

In what version of Powerhouse did it appear on ALL supported platforms? 
It is not in PH 8.43D for Solaris.

Is it documented in the downloadable PDF files?  The last PH Rules pdf 
file I have is for version 8.3.x and was published August of 2001. It 
appears I downloaded that April 29th of this year. Is there a newer 
version finally?  I'd check, but my link to Cognos is messed up at the 
moment.

I'm curious because I'm wondering what else I could be missing.
