INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER


Caddock Electronics, a family-owned, high technology company with
operations in California and Oregon, is seeking an Information Systems
Manager. In business for over forty years, Caddock is committed to the
development and manufacture of high performance passive components which
are sold worldwide for use in medical electronics, aerospace,
telecommunications, industrial controls, etc. Caddock maintains a
conservative financial posture and is debt-free.

The successful candidate must: ensure highly efficient and reliable
operation of hardware, software, communication and security; analyze and
make recommendations for new technologies; maintain security (firewalls,
proxy servers and backup), servers (file servers, print/fax servers,
mail servers, intranet) and server-based applications and databases; and
provide hardware/software technical support and training for
approximately 75 users.

At least seven (7) years experience in the following is required:
HP3000, MPEix, and Linux. Expert level HP3000 system management
experience with MPEix, COBOL, TurboImage and Powerhouse (Quiz, QTP and
Quick).
Troubleshooting and support of a corporate IT environment that is a
balance of Mac OS9/OSX and Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP/2003 on a LAN/WAN
network using TCP/IP protocol. Management of NT Security; DNS, WINS,
user accounts, passwords, privileges and security provisions. Support of
Microsoft Office suite. Database development and support in FileMakerPro
(6 & 7) and MS Access. Experience with business continuity and disaster
recovery planning, network security and performance monitoring.
Experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco Routers and 3Com switches. Experience
with Western Data Systems, Compass financial management programs is
preferred.

The position will report to the Vice President of Finance.
