New user to the list. If this has been addressed please point me to the
correct area in the archives. Thanks!
We are running on a 3000 that is close to the end of its life (aren't we
all?). PH version 7.29.C3. We have many older subfiles that we have
compressed with a package called RIGHT!. We are trying to access two files
that we have decompressed. ONE of them is giving errors:
*E* File error on dictionary portion of subfile.
*E* END OF FILE (FSERR 0)
This file is retirement info for one quarter. The second file is the same
format for the next quarter but does not give an error.
My assumption is that PowerHouse stores this dictionary info in the label
area on MPE files. Is it possible to take the dictionary info from the
good file and apply it to the 'bad' file?
Any other direction to look at?
Thanks for any help.
