I believe Joe Boyle is right about accessing MS SQL Server with the Sybase
client and EnterpriseConnect Data Access from SyBase.

You may want to talk to SyBase about it.

I think making more data sources available to PowerHouse is a way to
increase Powerhouse usage.

UNIXODBC from Easysoft would be a natural extension.
Cognos already has ODBC  code in their NT version.
So they need only port it to their UNIX platforms.

I wiould also port PowerHouse, Axiant Thin client and PowerHouse web to
LINUX. Some people are running a SCO version of PowerHouse on Linux.
So I don't think Cognos would have a hard time making the port.
