This problem should be resolved in the upcoming maintenance release
currently scheduled for the March/April 2005 time frame (but don't quote
me).

Anyone experiencing any errors when using OpenVMS 840d and using the "do
blob" command to extract files out to disk? We have PDF's that are
stored
in an RDB database, but when we use 840d, the PDF's are corrupted and
cannot be read by Adobe Reader. In 740g1, the extract works just fine.
Any suggestions?
