how can i make qtp report its assumptions

QTP is reporting the access path that it's using since one was not
specified. As far as I can tell, QTP will always report the access path
even when there is only one. If nothing is reported, it means that one
has been specified in the statement.
QTP also always reports the generated item initialization that it uses.
Item initialization is generated unless you have NOITEMS and is based on
item name and type. If it doesn't appear then it means it didn't happen.

It has been my experience that Qtp always reports the assumptions it
makes. The "access" assumptions in your example are reported immediately
after the output statement. The "item ... initial" statements are
reported when Qtp knows you're done -- i.e. when it encounters one of
"request", "build" or "go".
Enhancement request: give us a way to save those generated "item ...
initial" statements, maybe in qtpsave.

a nice easy one.
qtp will sometimes report the assumptions it makes about the data
structures and sometimes it won't.
eg:
access file1
output file2 update add
Access FILE2 viaindex FILE2_PK. ; <-- generated by qtp
Access via KEY1 using KEY1 OF FILE1. ; <-- generated by qtp build Item
ITEM1 OF FILE2 initial ITEM1 OF FILE1. ; <-- generated by qtp Item
ITEM2 OF FILE2 initial ITEM2 OF FILE1. ; <-- generated by qtp Item
ITEM3 OF FILE2 initial ITEM3 OF FILE1. ; <-- generated by qtp
is there a way to make qtp do this all the time?
if it's not doing it, what am i doing wrong?
thanks and regards,
stephen.
