<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Hi All,
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>We have successfully migrated our Powerhouse application from VMS/RMS to
<DIV></DIV>>Oracle-9i environment on Sun/Solaris under Powerhouse version 8.43.C.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Now we are in the process of migrating the same application to Powerhouse
<DIV></DIV>>application on VMS/Alpha and Oracle database running on Sun/Solaris.
<DIV></DIV>>Powerhouse version is 8.40.D.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>We are having problems on VMS/Powerhouse 8.40.D with the same source that is
<DIV></DIV>>running OK on Solaris accessing the same Oracle-9i database.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>We have GET on RECEIVED DESIGNER record structures all over our code. This
<DIV></DIV>>works fine on VMS/RMS and Oracle-9i on Solaris under Ph-8.43.C.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Under Ph 8.40.D environment, QDESIGN issues a WARNING "ACCESS ignored on
<DIV></DIV>>received file" and I am getting the following runtime error on QUICK
<DIV></DIV>>"No relation has been specified on file....".
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Code change is not a good solution as we have exceeded 31 file limits on
<DIV></DIV>>most of these programs and also we have too many programs to change.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>I am working with Cognos Support.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Thanks very much,
<DIV></DIV>>Sagar
