Any conversion to char format looks like this (you need to know the size of
your integer before hand though):
define CHAR-DATE char*8 = ascii(PH-DATE,8)
define CHAR-AMOUNT char*7 = ascii(INT-AMT,6)[1:4] + "." +
ascii(INT-AMT,6)[5:2]
As long as all your amounts are positive otherwise you need an if statment 2
add the sign and the size should then be 8.
