Roshan - do you need to work on location or can it be long-distance?

Cheers
Mikael

Does this mean you are in India Roshan?

In the last week I've worked 9, 10, 11 and 12 hour days plus I'll be working
this weekend. Do you think overworking is unique to India? Companies in
the USA are pushing their workers to significantly longer hours rather than
hiring additional staff as a result of the economic slowdown in this
country. I bet it's the same in other western countries too.

BTW, have you looked at Singapore as a source of PH resources? There used
to be quite a number of sites there.

How many programmers do you need and for how long? Maybe if we on the list
were more intimate with your needs we could come up with some useful ideas.

Regards,
Blue

Well, Let me put it this way..

1) They are rare in India at least at the moment. I
know at least of 3 companies ( including mine) looking
for them

2) Yes - we do have training program.. But to train
anyone and expect the person to know it all does not
happen. Best learning is experience.

3) US / UK / Australia rates could be cheap but can't
be as cheap as that of Offshore Services Companies..
and guys in India work for 10 to 12 hours almost daily
.. not to mention that many a times they also work on
weekends to meet the tight deliveries...

Now, while writing this, I have no intentions of
convincing anyone on India's capabilities but that's
the way it is here and I know it is not a fair
practice to have anyone work so long..

Thanks
Roshan Shah
