PADS Overview

PADS is an application development tool installed by a COGNOS consultant at
our site way back in 1990.  COGNOS dropped support for the tool soon after.
 However, the tools is written in Powerhouse and we've continued to use it.
 We've been able to successfully migrate it to each new Powerhouse release
until version 830.  PADS partially maps internal structures in the
dictionary files and these appear to have changed with version 830D2 and
830D4.
