Yes, PowerHouse Web can call "ghost" screens using the SUBSCREEN statement
or RUN SCREEN verb. A ghost screen has no layout section and user never sees
it. PowerHouse Web does not allow you to call a subscreen with a layout
section as a precaution.
The PH Web Guide (for version 2.2) or the Developer's Guide (for version
2.4) has some information in the SUBSCREEN/RUN SCREEN sections of the syntax
reference.

Subject: PowerhouseWeb: calling existing programs
Hi,
Is there a way to make a direct call from Powerhouse Web to an existing
quick program (qkc) on an OpenVMS system.
The quick program has no screen output, it performs just some calculations
and updates in files.
We like to reuse the already written code, without copying them to
Powerhouse Web (= double maintenance).
Thanks!
