Migrating from RMS to Oracle

Hi Sagar:

1)   I think the easiest way to migrate this application is to make each 
coded record structure a table in Oracle. I recall seeing a datatype 
conversion list in the PowerHouse documentation.

2)One could put all the data that relates to one RMS physical file into one 
table and then create several
views of the table based on the record coding. The Oracle CAST function 
might be useful. Good luck if that is way you choose to go.
