The problem is with permissions on the directory where the scratch file is
to be created. You should be able to modify the default location where this
file is created using a temp var in the user's .profile script.

Subject: QTP's QTPSCR file

Environment: Powerhouse 8.23D7, Oracle 8.1.7.2.0, HP-UX

Hi All --

I have a QTP with a Request that has the same table in the Access and
Output statements, thus it needs to create and use the intermediate
Powerhouse file called QTPSCR.

The program works find when run in the foreground (e.g. $qtp
auto=x.qtc) but when we run it in a script fired off as a backround
process with an "at" command, it appears to fail at the request that
needs to use the QTPSCR file, with this message:

Executing request RESET_TO_BLANKS ...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Error opening work file: QTP
terminating.
   File: qtpscr

Action Taken: Terminate program.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Has anyone else seen this? Do we need to set a variable for QTPSCR,
and if so, what should it be set to? Should it be set right in the
script that is being run in the background?
