LOCK in Qdesign

You don't state your PH version or OS.
I work on VMS, and I don't believe lock file works there: lock record works,
and uses the 'normal' file system locking. Lock file is a Cognos creation
though, and I can't see that it works properly across different user groups.

The solution (for VMS users) is never to use lock file, or DALOCK.OBJ, but
just to use lock record. This is obviously an OS dependent area, though, and
I can't advise on what's best on other platforms.
